What is Illinois CoChess?
Illinois CoChess is the organizing body of K-8 scholastic chess within Illinois. It organizes a tournament calendar, provides information to parents and teachers, and forms a set of rules for K-8 Illinois chess.

Our Mission
Illinois CoChess promotes K-8 chess within Illinois. It serves to help educate parents, coaches, and young chess players about chess, and the lessons and values that competitive chess can provide.
